How long does it take to complete?

After you have attended the course, the time you take to complete the assessments depends very much on your input and on the quality of your work. As far as the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is concerned, one credit equals 10 hours of learning and so the Total Qualification Time (TQT) is roughly 100 hours for the Award, 300 hours for the Certificate and 600 hours for the Diploma. We generally say that the Award takes 3 to 6 months to complete, the Certificate takes around a year to complete, the Diploma will take you a good 18 months to complete’.

How much does it cost?

Starting costs are as follows. Total costs will depend on the units you choose and on whether you need accommodation during the course.
Award: £1990 + VAT
Certificate: £3440 + VAT
Diploma: £5890 + VAT

Note the Diploma is an intensive programme of study which can take a long time to achieve. We recommend you start with the Award or the Certificate in the first instance, however this is only a suggestion. You do not need to complete the full Diploma in order to progress to the next level.
