“Managing effectively from a distance”
Significant numbers of workers within FM now work remotely. With these changes, there is a need to effectively manage and support team members who may permanently work off-site, are home-based or work in remote or virtual teams. This has been particularly significant with the increase in outsourcing in FM. Team members may increasingly find they do not have the capabilities to deal with issues that distance may cause.
